- Developing new and innovative technologies for waste management;
- Supporting the planning and execution of EM waste and materials disposition;

“We are thrilled that the award continues PEC’s legacy of support for the environmental management program. Back in 1998, our first contract was for the Office of Environmental Management, and since then, without fail, we’ve been providing support for over 27 years. We continue to provide the very best people and are proud to be a part of the winning Catawba-TEAPEC team. The joint venture brings the exceptional qualifications of the three companies into a seamless and integrated contract management solution for EM” – Ricardo Martinez (President & CEO)
“PEC is very proud to be a part of the team that will be supporting EM HQ’s nuclear cleanup mission over the next 5 years. The PEC team has a long history (over 27 years) of dedicated service to DOE-EM and has a passion for the work the DOE-EM does. Many of us who support the EM contract have worked and lived in communities where DOE-EM has operations. It is not just work to be done. It’s personal and it matters to us.” – Sasha Robertson (Senior Vice President of Environment, Safety & Health Program Services)
The CTSS contract builds upon the team’s long-standing service to the DOE under a prior incumbent contract held by Catawba TEA LLC.
